Premium Wool Fabric Development
Where Every Outerwear Begins – With Unmatched Material Excellence
At Onward, the quality of our wool coats and jackets starts with the fabrics. We utilize premium wool textiles in-house, using carefully selected materials with specific process such as short smooth, long smooth, pile velvet, water-pattern jacquard, double-face, and tweed.
By controlling the textile development process from fiber selection to final finish, we ensure every roll of fabric meets our high standards for softness, durability, and luxury.

Where quality begins with fabric.

Flexible Fabric and Technique Matching
We offer a wide range of high-quality fabrics — including Merino wool, cashmere blends, and alpaca — each selected to align with specific functional, hand feel, and design goals.
Wool Coat Manufacturing
Transform Fine Wool Into Timeless Outerwear

1. Fabric Inspection
Thorough fabric inspection ensures each roll of material is free from defects, color inconsistencies, or weaving flaws—guaranteeing premium quality in every garment.

2. Cutting
Fully automated laser cutting and visualized data ensure precise cuts with minimal waste and maximum efficiency.

3. Panel Inspection and Processing
Each coat panel is inspected after cutting to verify shape, grain alignment, and fabric stability.

4. Stitch Deviation
Monitoring stitch lines closely to eliminate deviation, ensuring even, secure seams to enhance durability, fit, and the overall elegance of the finished coat.

5. Seam Splitting
After stitching, seams are opened and flattened using heat. Seam splitting helps achieve a smooth finish, reduces bulk in the final garment, and supports the crisp silhouette expected in high-end coats.
6. Interfacing Bonding
Key coat areas such as collars, lapels, and fronts are bonded with interfacing for shape retention and structure. This bonding step is vital for tailoring precision and long-lasting luxury garment construction.

7. Hand Sewing
Finishing touches like hemming, label stitching, and edge reinforcements are done by hand. Hand sewing adds refined detail, improves durability, and reflects the artisanal quality of our wool and cashmere coats.

8. Pressing
Each garment undergoes multiple pressing stages to shape and set its form. Expert pressing smooths seams, sharpens lines, and locks in the refined silhouette that defines premium outerwear craftsmanship.

9. Attaching Trimmings
Trims such as buttons, zippers, linings, and logo labels are carefully attached to complete the garment. Every detail adds function and aesthetic value to the finished wool coat or cashmere jacket.

10. RTW Inspection
Our final inspection process ensures every ready-to-wear (RTW) coat meets strict quality standards. We check stitching, measurements, appearance, and finish to deliver flawless, high-end garments to our customers.

11. Packaging
We offer customized packaging solutions for woolen coats to elevate your unboxing experience via custom sustainable packaging and other protective packaging for long-haul transport. So each coat is carefully packed to protect the garment’s structure, finish, and luxury feel during international shipping — ensuring it arrives in perfect condition, ready for retail or direct delivery.
