We Own Our Cashmere Raw Material Supply Chain
At Onward, we operate our own raw material factory to ensure stable quality and traceable sourcing. Our cashmere fibers are primarily sourced from premium regions such as Inner Mongolia, Tibet, and Xinjiang, known for producing the finest natural fibers in the world.

1. Raw Materials Preparation
Our raw materials are sourced both from Inner Mongolia and premium yarn mills in Italy. Our main yarns compostion includes cashmere, wool, silk, cotton, linen, mohair, Tencel, and other fibers. Many of our yarns are certified by globally recognized standards such as GOTS, SFA, OEKO-TEX®, and The Good Cashmere Standard, ensuring quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing.
2. Pattern Making
Our highly experienced craftsmen use CAD software to develop precise technical construction drawings, ensuring accuracy and consistency in every knitwear.
3. Knitting
Using over 100 advanced STOLL computerized knitting machines (1.5GG to 18GG), we bring designs to life with precision. Dual and triple system functions enable intricate patterns and efficient fabric production, ensuring both creativity and scalability. Our monthly capacity exceeds 30,000 units.
4. Panel Linking
We operate more than 100 automated linking machines, each run by skilled workers with over 3 years of experience. Panels are expertly connected to ensure durability, comfort, and a seamless finish—vital for the luxury knitwear experience.
5. Washing & Finishing
Each piece undergoes eco-conscious washing and controlled ironing. We adjust techniques based on fiber and color to preserve softness, enhance hand feel, and optimize anti-pilling performance. Sustainable detergents ensure our environmental standards are upheld.
6. Trimming & Accessory Attachment
From labels and buttons to bespoke trim detailing, our finishing team ensures that each element is attached with precision. We offer one-stop accessory solutions tailored to global client specifications, supporting diverse brand requirements.
7. Quality Inspection
Every garment is put through 6 strict inspection steps, targeting stitching, linking, shaping, colorfastness, cleanliness, and garment measurements. This meticulous process significantly reduces quality complaints and ensures consistent excellence in every piece.
8. Packaging
We provide customized packaging solutions per customer order, separated by country, collection, and client branding needs. Each item is packed with care to maintain its pristine condition throughout global shipping.
